Gokce Pehlivanoglu

Gokce Pehlivanoglu

Co-Founder & Director

Gokce Pehlivanoglu is a London-based director, photographer, and producer working across film, music videos, and visual storytelling. Born in 1984 in Istanbul, she graduated with top honours in 2006 from Marmara University's Faculty of Fine Arts (Cinema & TV).

In 2008, she joined a filmmaking workshop at the New York Film Academy (Paris). She has lectured on Music Video Production, Photography, and Cinematography at Kadir Has University, Akademi Istanbul, and SAE Institute Istanbul, and earned her MFA in Film and Drama from Kadir Has University in 2013.

In 2016, she relocated to London and founded her production company, Lunaroom Film. Since then she has advised short film festivals, contributed to independent international productions, and developed community film initiatives across East London. Her collaborations include Leytonstone Loves Film (organised by Barbican Centre), Shorts on Tap for the Silk Road Films event, and screenings hosted at Good Shepherds Studio.

Lunaroom Film specialises in film and video production, 2D animation, across commercials, documentaries, corporate films, and music videos.

Co-Founder & Director

Çağıl Bocut is an award-winning director, producer, and creative consultant with over a decade of experience across feature films, TV series, documentaries, and animation. His work has been showcased in more than 20 countries and honored at major festivals such as Istanbul, Cottbus, Busan, Valencia, and Cinequest.

He wrote and directed Sardunya (2021), his debut feature film supported by the German-Turkish Co-Development Fund. He has directed over 30 commercials and produced nearly 50 documentaries, while also teaching at Istanbul Bilgi University and founding the Istanbul branch of SAE Institute, where he led the Digital Film and Animation Department.

Over the past few years, Çağıl has focused on exploring the creative potential of artificial intelligence in visual storytelling, from performance design to AI-assisted narrative development. As a creative consultant on Golden Opulence (now streaming on Netflix), he helped shape a 12-country production blending culture, craft, and next-gen technology.

With a deep cinematic background and a forward-looking vision, he brings a hybrid approach that bridges tradition and innovation, combining craft-level storytelling instincts with a rigorous curiosity for emerging tools and new production paradigms.
